Meeting in Akhalkalakii- The Project Founded by National Endowment for Democracy (NED)

“Public Movement Multinational Georgia” held meeting in Akhalkalaki within the framework of the project “development of civil society in the regions with the compact settlement of ethnic minorities”.
The main topic for discussion was the regulations in the areas of food safety as well as water and climatic issues as stipulated by the EU Association Agreement.
The discussions held with Akhalkalaki residents were led by the invited guest speaker Nino Chkhobadze, representative of “Georgian Green Movement/Friend of the World”.
Within the framework of the meeting, residents of Akhalkalaki have received the information regarding the impact ensued from the realization of the AA as well as obligations to be met on the part of Georgia in order to promote agriculture sector.
