On 6th of October, Public Movement Multinational Georgia has conducted the Election Day simulation for its short term observers.

Election Day simulation for short term observers is a part of the organization’s Election Day monitoring program the aim of which is to test as well as examine the readiness of short term observers, call center operators stationed at the PMMG central office for program findings’ reception and processing purposes, data base developed for data entry and processing purposes as well as communications system for the Election Day.

The Elections Day monitoring program being implemented by the Public Movement Multinational Georgia covers Kvemo Kartli, Kakheti and Samtskhe-Javakehti regions with the compact settlement of ethnic minorities and thus capture the following Electoral Districts: # 46 Ninotsminda-Akhalkalaki ED, # 35 and # 36 Marneuli ED, # 33 Bolnisi ED, # 34 Dmanisi-Tsalka-Bolnisi ED, # 31 Gardabani ED, # 32 Tetritskaro-Gardabani ED and # 23 Sagarejo ED.

The Elections Day monitoring program will be implemented by 294 observers deployed by the organization including 227 static observers, 59 mobile group observers, 6 district election commission observes and 2 central election commission observers. Organization will entirely cover # 35 and # 36 Marneuli electoral districts as well as # 46 Akhalkalaki-Ninotsminda electoral district.

The Election Day monitoring program is being implemented with the financial support provided by Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherland in Tbilisi, Open Society Georgia Foundation (OSGF), International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
